Nephew Eben at the pool yesterday - I think this one is self explanatory. :+)

Courtney lost her first baby tooth!
She was so excited when she came running downstairs this morning with $2 from the tooth fairy. "Mommy, the tooth fairy really was here!"

A day at the animal park (Scidmore Park)

Rockin the threads....

Today I made the big mistake of going to Wal-Mart, where I always walk out with way more than I intended on getting on the way in. Somehow Court and Xavier talked me into buying them each a new outfit, and of course, when you get new threads, you gotta show 'em off!

Court can easily make a five minute story last an hour, lol. Today I just kept snapping away while she was talking. She was so into her story, I don't think she even noticed. :+)

Xavier and Courtney at Scott Mill Park today. It's a nature park near Shipshewana. It has a long nature trail, but we only made it about 100 yards. Even slathered in bug dope, we were getting eaten alive by mosquitos, so I managed to get them to stop for this picture, and then we took off for the safety of the van.

So, it was insanely hot here the other day and I made the kids stay inside in the air conditioning all afternoon so they wouldn't get heatstroke. We went outside to play later in the evening when it cooled down some, but I think the kids had already lost their minds from staying inside all day because they spent the evening catching each other in a butterfly net....

Oh yeah, that's Court.....'nuff said?

Aiden is one great big ball of energy wrapped up in a little 7-year-old boy, so it's a rare occassion that I manage to capture that grin before he dashes off again! I tricked him the other day though. He was playing with the butterfly net and I told him he could capture me - well, I captured him! :+)
Here are some more scrapbook pages. Just click on any image to make it larger so you can read the text. TFL!

Okay, so maybe I posted twice when I started this blog and then nothing for four months, but I really am going to get moving on it now! Here are some scrapbooks pages I've been working on. Really enjoying this because it combines my two favorite things - my family and digital art. Suffice to say life has been no less than crazy this year, but from this point on I plan to keep y'all updated via this page here! TFL!!

Landon and I poolside (hence the messy hair).
