The Rock Walk

Courtney's class is learning about geology, and next week they will be studying rocks. All the students are asked to bring in a small rock collection to share, so on Friday we went on a Rock Walk! Click on the picture below to see the album. The kids had a lot of fun picking rocks, and then I snuck a math lesson in when I had them count and sort them all, lol, gotta do that when you can. :+)
